Generating Documents For Customers And Prospects

You may generate Word documents which are personalised for a selected Customer/Prospect. These may be saved against the company record for others to access.

Company documents are generated from Word templates stored in VECTA. These include 'placeholder' fields, enabling company and contact-related data from your VECTA database to be placed automatically within the document to personalise it for the recipient.

There are two ways of generating personalised company documents from your available templates:

Generated documents can be saved against the company in VECTA. This enables other VECTA users to access the document, which acts as a record of interaction with the Customer or Prospect. Any generated/saved document may also be downloaded to a local PC for storage, editing, printing and email. Files created or edited offline may be uploaded from a local PC to VECTA to be saved against the company and viewed/opened by any user with access privileges.
